Trade chemicals distilled water is water that is boiled into vapour and then condensed back. This way the liquid is then placed into a separate container; so impurities in the original water may not boil at or below the boiling point of water. They then remain in the original container. So it is one type of purified water. Distilled water is the best quality option if high water purity is essential.
